Helloo!
Whilst on our holiday in Corsica, one day we decided that we'd take a bus and travel to one of the other larger towns. It was about 40 minutes away which wasn't to bad however, it did include a nice bumpy route over the mountains (I did feel a lil bit queasy). The town we visited is called Bastia and is much larger than the town we were staying in, Saint Florent. It had many more shops and restaurants compared to our small port town.

Like Saint Florent, it had a harbour which was of a similar, maybe even smaller size. None the less, it was filled with boats of all shapes and sizes. It is bewildering seeing all these boats in one space.
Right in the centre of Bastia was this massive town square which was so beautifully designed. It had restaurants all along one side and looked out towards the sea where cruise boats would come in. It also had these huge trees and colourful flowers which made the whole square look even better.
I'd definitely recommend visiting Bastia if you're in Corsica. Even where you're staying in a small town, it's nice to venture into the city and explore!
