FAMILY FESTIVITIES 2 | Blogmas Day 6

Carrying on from yesterday's post, we eventually all recovered from our windy walk along the coast and turned in for the night after an evening of chat and salted caramel profiteroles.
We had a lazy start to the morning as we were in no rush to get anywhere so we slowly got dressed and sorted after a nice breakfast of croissants and coffee and tried to decide what to do. The whether today was horrible and rainy so there was no way we were going to actually go out somewhere. Instead, we decided to play some board games and watch Christmad films, including 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' - a classic festive film. Fran also cooked a really nice beef casserole for lunch (wow it was fab) which made us feel very full after eating.
The time to leave creeped ever closer and none of us really wanted to. However, we have booked a day next year where they are going to come and visit us which we are all looking forward to already. Thankyou to the Hanmore's for a lovely weekend!!
