Imagine Dragons in Bournemouth

10:40

Hello Lovelies!

Last Friday, Hannah, Caitlin, Bryony and I travelled to Bournemouth to FINALLY go and see Imagine Dragons live at the Bournemouth International Centre. It took place in the Solent Hall which fit about 2000 people.
We got to Bournemouth at about half 5 and went to Harry Ramston's Fish and Chips place for tea which was pretty good. By the time we had finished, it was time to start queuing to get into the hall. Now, when we started queuing, it looked like we were going to be quite far back and not that close to the stage. However, when we got in, to our surprise, we were quite close!

The support acts we fab too! First on was Alex Vargas who was literally amazing, very Ben Howard like. His voice is wonderful. You can check him out here --> http://alexvargas.com/
We also had on 'The Moth and The Flame' who were also pretty good. You can listen to them here->  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujwQZTXn7K4

Imagine Dragons first played 'Round and Round' which really got everybody going and was a brilliant song to start with. They also played 'Amsterdam', 'Cha-Ching', 'Hear Me', 'Underdog', 'It's Time', 'Radioactive', 'Tiptoe, 'Demons'' and 'On Top Of The World'. When they played 'Underdog' they bought all these balloons on stage which we filled with confetti and they threw them into the crowd. Everyone was throwing them around making them pop and burst out the confetti inside. It was great to experience!
Also, about half-way through, they started to play 'O Christmas Tree' when, Dan (lead singer) disagreed and they decided to play Song 2 by Blur instead. This was absolutely insane and got everybody rocking out everywhere. Completely mental, watch the whole going's-on here -->

It was a late night so I have been sleeping all weekend trying to find the energy to write this post, haha! I will (eventually) be editing a vlog of the day including clips from the gig so hope that you will all enjoy!
