Corsica 2015//Part II

09:08

Hiya!
On the Friday of our first week in Corsica we took a boat trip around part of the island and visited various different beaches. We had a awesome guide for the day whose name was Luca, shoutout to him and his company which he runs with his brother in Saint Florent and also Sardina. His English was super good and he made the day really fun. The last time I had been on a boat trip was back in Cuba, two years ago so it was great to back out on the ocean!

Our first stop was back to Lotu beach but a little bit further along. The water was just as clear as the days before and was refreshing to swim in. We stayed in this area for about an hour and ate on the boat too. Luca (or should I say his girlfriend) had prepared a pasta cabonara dish which was really good! He also had a brill playlist for the boat which included The Eagles - Hotel California and Nickleback - How You Remind Me. I mean come on, these are classics. Harry (my brother) also got to steer the boat which was very entertaining to watch. We ended up going quite off-course to the right. He tried bless him.

Luca then took us to a beach a bit further along from Lotu called Saleccia. It was just as perfect as Lotu but maybe like x1000 clearer. We all fell in love with the beach right away and decided that we would definitely return. We swam in the ocean and Harry and Luca dived off the boat.

After that is where it went a little bit downhill. I get really bad motion sickness. Like really bad. i'd felt a little bit dodgy on the way to Saleccia but tried to ignore it. However, when we got back on the boat after our swim, I couldn't stomach it,. Literally.
I may have vommed on this super expensive, phenomenal yacht.
Yep.
Moving swiftly on.

Overall, it was a really fun day and creds to Luca for making it memorable.
